Dawn

It was an accidental meeting that I was in that space. Unfamiliar town, chilly night air, and gloomy atmosphere.
“Is it really the center of Seoul?”
It was my thought when I first looked at the factory site in Sungsoo-dong. I couldn’t hear and see anything alive besides me. Moreover, I could feel night fog and mysterious fantasy at that night. After that day, I’ve gone to Sungsoo-Dong every dawn.

The fire in the public parking lot was still shining brightly. The red light was visible from the second floor window of the building.
What was that light?
The clock on my wrist was pointing to 2 am. The moving creature, where I was alone, quietly set up the camera with a tripod.

It was still at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, but the factory was still on, and there were still sounds of machines rolling back and forth. This was not the Seoul I knew so far.

My style of photography is always to keep vertical and horizontal. The sense of security coming from it is good. I tried to cut down only the sections of the buildings in a plane. But as soon as I saw this building, I was impressed.
"What building is it?"
It was not a home or a factory. I remember that I shot more than two hours only in that place that day. It is at 2 o'clock in the morning when it feels bad.
